Your Hosts

A Little About us

Trish & Jeff moved to Tairua from Auckland 8 years ago to retire and enjoy the natural beauty and serenity the Coromandel Peninsula has to offer. While they may be retired, they certainly haven’t retired from providing an excellent experience for all who come to stay.

Jeff worked for the Auckland Fire Service for almost 40 years, is a keen gardener and brews his own beer (so staying at Rewa House has its own reward, as long as you’re nice to Jeff). He also loves to cook and takes immense pride in his full english breakfasts for all guests.

Trish worked for a leading Bank and enjoys the odd game of golf (don’t ask her about her handicap), loves gardening and more than anything else loves meeting new people particularly when they’re on holiday from overseas (and we love Kiwis too). Over a glass of wine or two and maybe some of Jeff’s home brew, Trish will make you feel right at home.

Together, Trish & Jeff look forward to having you stay with them and helping you explore the great things to “do and see” on the Coromandel Peninsula.

If there is a better B&B in New Zealand, would someone please let me know where it is. Anyone thinking of staying in the Coromandel should stay in Tairua at Rewa House.
